Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of vegetable gardens, orchards, and greenhouses
• Harvest and pack produce
• Care for animals, including feeding and humane handling of chickens, goats, and bees
• Implement sustainable farming practices (composting, seed-saving, no-till, etc.) and assist in achieving organic certification
• Support farm operations, including irrigation, pest management, and soil health
• Host farm tours and help with agritourism activities
• Implement revenue streams for produce on site
• Manage and run the farm store and possibly support on-site farm stays
• Property management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Passion for sustainable agriculture and food systems
• Experience or strong interest in regenerative farming and gardening
• Handy or mechanically inclined—experience with basic tools and farm equipment is a plus
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or permaculture is beneficial
• Comfortable with physical work in varying weather conditions
• Basic Spanish skills are a plus but not required
