About the position

As a vendor and representative of Stardust Cellars, you will play a crucial role in the wine and mead industry, responsible for educating consumers, building relationships with customers, managing sales, and overseeing market needs such as reports and inventory. This position involves working at various farmers markets and festivals, primarily on Saturdays, and requires a commitment to providing a quality experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a vendor and representative of Stardust Cellars at farmers markets and festivals.
• Educate consumers about wine, mead, and cider products.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Manage market needs including reports, inventory, and product management.
• Oversee training of new staff at market locations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, ABC, ALE, and safety regulations.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or bartending is a plus.
• Ability to operate Square (point of sales app).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good physical stamina and strength for manual labor.
• Reliable transportation.
