About the position

The Farmers Market Vendor position at Vegan Stops involves engaging with customers at various farmers markets, promoting and selling Mediterranean food products, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires reliable transportation, weekend availability, and a commitment to high-quality service and local agriculture.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to the assigned farmers market location for the day, ensuring timely arrival and setup of the booth.
  • Set up and arrange products in an attractive and organized manner, following company guidelines and standards.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing information about our products, answering questions, and offering samples.
  • Actively promote our products to drive sales and achieve performance targets.
  • Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently using the provided equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the booth throughout the day, including restocking products and disposing of waste.
  • Break down the booth at the end of the day, ensuring all equipment and inventory are properly stored and secured.
  • Keep accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (own vehicle required).
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Sales experience and customer service skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude towards learning and growth.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to upholding company standards and values.
