About the position

The position of Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse involves performing manual labor tasks related to agricultural production. This full-time seasonal role requires physical endurance and the ability to work in varying weather conditions, with a focus on maintaining food safety and quality during the harvesting process.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, hand labor including raking and shoveling.
• Hand pick and remove foreign material such as rock and dirt from crops.
• Inform managers of progress and guide products onto conveyers.
• Position boxes/bags to catch products and clean up crop pieces and foreign material.
• Use hog to scoop and move potatoes to washplant, load onto conveyer and adjust controls.
• Bag and/or tote products as required.

Requirements

• One month of recent and verifiable experience in agricultural labor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Compliance with drug screening policies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with operating agricultural tools and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and after dark.
