About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Sugarhill Apparel & Gala. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic and fashion design, capable of creating innovative designs for clothing collections and marketing assets. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software is essential, along with a deep understanding of color theory and the apparel production process. This role involves collaboration with lead designers and product managers to ensure brand consistency and develop engaging visuals.

Responsibilities

  • Render and/or vector artwork for product designs and promotional materials.
  • Create and develop CADs and mock-ups for product designs in collaboration with lead designers.
  • Create unique graphic designs for marketing materials, sales assets, and product presentations.
  • Prepare, organize, and manage artwork files for production and marketing use.
  • Collaborate with lead designers to manage product samples, incorporate changes, and update designs as needed.
  • Edit and enhance photos for marketing and sales purposes.
  • Assist with website edits, maintenance, and content management.
  • Upload and manage products and visual content on brand websites.
  • Upload image assets to our sales platform and manage product descriptions and details, photos, and presentations.
  • Create and refine sales assets, including marketing materials, banners, presentations, videos, and product images.
  • Assist in developing engaging and original content for websites, social media, sales, and marketing.
  • Create and manage detailed tech packs for production.
  • Assist in overseeing quality assurance (QA) to ensure designs meet tech pack specifications and production standards.
  • Assist in managing sample intake and review process.
  • Confirm color-matching and ensure design details are executed with precision and accuracy in accordance with tech pack specifications.
  • Assist in managing brand-related trims and packaging to ensure they meet company standards and align with design specifications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant platforms & software tools.
  • Experience working in the Men's Streetwear Fashion Industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong creativity and artistic instincts.
  • Excellent & unwavering attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Broad understanding of the apparel production process & the apparel industry as a whole.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
