About the position

The Fashion PR Manager at GUAPI is responsible for leading the public relations strategy to enhance the brand's visibility and reputation in the fashion industry. This role involves engaging with high-profile clients, stylists, and celebrities to promote GUAPI's unique luxury streetwear collections. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry connections to secure brand placements and manage PR campaigns that align with the company's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to elevate GUAPI's brand presence in the fashion industry.
  • Cultivate relationships with high-profile stylists, celebrities, influencers, and fashion editors to secure brand placements in key events and media outlets.
  • Coordinate celebrity and influencer dressing to ensure GUAPI pieces are worn at high-visibility events such as red carpets, photoshoots, and public appearances.
  • Create and manage PR campaigns that promote new collections, collaborations, and brand stories.
  • Organize and manage press releases, media kits, and fashion show presentations to ensure maximum exposure and brand alignment.
  • Monitor media coverage, track campaign success, and prepare performance reports to inform future PR strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure PR efforts align with overall brand messaging.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR for established fashion brands, ideally in the streetwear or luxury segment.
  • Proven experience in celebrity and influencer partnerships, ensuring their endorsement of brand products.
  • Strong network and connections within the fashion industry, including stylists, influencers, editors, and media outlets.
  • Experience in organizing PR events such as fashion shows, product launches, or media previews.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitches for the brand.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement PR campaigns that generate buzz and media coverage.
