About the position

The Fashion Seamstress position at Tasty Tye involves assisting in the styling and presentation of fashion items for an e-commerce boutique. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage online listings, take high-quality photographs, and provide excellent customer service. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a creative environment focused on fashion and retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the styling and dressing of mannequins for photoshoots.
• Take high-quality, well-lit photographs of products.
• Measure items accurately and create precise size descriptions.
• Write engaging and detailed descriptions for listings, capturing the unique features of each item.
• Manage and update accounts on Poshmark, Etsy, eBay, and other platforms.
• Track, update, and organize inventory to ensure all listings are accurate and up-to-date.
• Respond to customer inquiries on marketplace accounts and provide excellent service.
• Maintain consistent, high-quality product presentations to align with our brand aesthetic.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for fashion styling.
• Familiarity with online sales platforms (e.g., Poshmark, Etsy, eBay).
• Excellent written communication skills for crafting appealing product descriptions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic photography skills are a plus.
• Prior experience in retail, fashion, or e-commerce is preferred.
