About the position

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Avenue Brunch House. In this role, you will be crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items
• Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food
• Serve food and beverages to customers with professionalism and attention to detail
• Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Clear tables and clean dining area after customers have finished their meals
• Handle cash transactions using the cash register and process payments accurately
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of Aloha POS system is desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of culinary terminology is beneficial
