About the position

The Fast Food Attendant at Kentucky Fried Chicken is responsible for a variety of tasks within a fast food establishment, including customer service, cash handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory. This role is essential for ensuring a positive dining experience for customers and involves working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food orders, providing information about menus and upselling products.
• Operates cash register, receives payments, and provides change while adhering to cash handling policies.
• Cleans and stocks the work area to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying transaction accuracy, and operates related equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
• Assists with various kitchen-related functions as required.
• Receives inventory and manages food and beverage products, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and converse comfortably with customers.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
