About the position

The Systems Engineer position at BAE Systems' FAST Labs involves supporting integration and testing activities for a novel multi-function RF System. The ideal candidate will leverage critical thinking and analytical skills across multiple domains, focusing on RF systems integration, automation of test equipment, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and testing activities for a multi-function RF System.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and industry partners to develop innovative solutions.
• Automate RF test equipment and parse large data sets.
• Develop test plans and associated test infrastructure to meet customer expectations.
• Communicate ideas, concerns, and solutions clearly to the team and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience with an emphasis in RF Integration & Test (I&T) / Verification & Validation (V&V).
• Experience working with RF test methods and equipment.
• Ability to travel and work at remote sites for test events and training activities.
• Hold an Active or Eligible Top Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient use of MATLAB or other programming languages.
• Experience with Digital Communications and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
• Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, and digital multi-meters.
• Have active or eligible U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
