About the position
The Accelerated Path to Management Program at New York Life is designed for individuals looking to leverage their experience into a management career within the financial services industry. Participants will initially work as financial professionals, gaining essential skills in sales, marketing, and client relationship management, before transitioning into management roles through a structured training program.
Responsibilities
- Work as a financial professional for the first year, learning to sell products and build client relationships.
- Meet specific production and licensing requirements before transitioning to a management role.
- Undergo a six-month intensive training program to prepare for a Field Manager position.
- Recruit and coach other financial professionals to success.
- Lead and build a team of financial professionals after becoming an Associate Partner.
Requirements
- Sales or managerial experience in another industry.
- Experience running your own business.
- An MBA or equivalent degree.
