About the position

The FDA Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Precision Medicine Fellowship offers research opportunities in the Office of Translational Sciences and the Office of Clinical Pharmacology at the FDA. This fellowship focuses on using machine learning to predict clinical outcomes based on patient factors, aiming to optimize drug dosing for individual patients. Participants will gain insights into the regulatory framework and methodologies for drug evaluation while working on real-world clinical trial datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize machine learning techniques to predict clinical outcomes based on patient data.
  • Analyze clinical trial datasets to derive meaningful insights.
  • Learn and apply regulatory frameworks and methodologies for drug evaluation.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience in analysis skills, particularly in machine learning and clinical trials.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations and intellectual property law.
