About the position

The Marketing & Communications Operations Manager at Hoag Memorial Hospital is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of communication and marketing projects from initiation to delivery. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The manager will utilize project management software to oversee tasks, ensure accountability, and balance resources while maintaining a high level of detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the on-time flow of all communication and marketing projects.
• Collaborate with requestors to ensure initiative information is complete and high quality.
• Create workflows within the project management system and assign tasks to team members and vendors.
• Review all creative work for quality control before final delivery.
• Attend creative briefings to understand project objectives and strategies.
• Coordinate the department's budget, timelines, and approvals, including invoice management.
• Adapt and create templates and dashboards in Workfront to enhance workflow processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business.
• 2+ years of project management experience with marketing, print, video, and digital projects.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management systems, preferably Workfront or similar.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional team efforts and anticipate needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a creative agency setting.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• General knowledge of creative terminology.
