About the position

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Videographer to join their creative production team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role involves producing network-quality video packages for their daily live TV show, The 700 Club, and other programming. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling visual content and a desire to make a positive impact through storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce network quality news magazine style video packages
• Perform location lighting, video/audio recording, and directing techniques
• Conduct field editing for video segments
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a production team
• Manage multiple job functions during field assignments
• Ensure thorough knowledge of TV production in remote locations
• Meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Communicate effectively and make quick decisions
• Travel extensively and work nights and weekends as needed
• Demonstrate good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Lead production efforts while listening to and implementing direction from assignment leaders
• Utilize advanced non-linear editing skills

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in video field production or an M.A. in video production
• Working knowledge of state-of-the-art video camera, lighting, and audio production techniques
• Ability to perform advanced remote production functions
• Good communication skills with the ability to make quick decisions
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Flexibility to perform varying shifts and extended hours
