About the position

The FedEx Ground Delivery Driver position involves delivering packages to customers in a timely and courteous manner. The role requires reliable and highly motivated individuals who can handle physical demands and maintain safety and integrity while on the job. Drivers will operate delivery vehicles, load and unload packages, and ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up the vehicle and deliver packages to customers.
• Load, unload safely, and prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Scan and log packages accurately.
• Maintain delivery logs and records.
• Locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers.
• Handle packages up to 150 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Legal to work in the US.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 3 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 10 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Dependable transportation to and from the job location.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus.
