About The Position
FedEx Ground is currently seeking to fill several full-time delivery driver positions at the North Canton, Ohio terminal. This role involves safely driving and operating a delivery vehicle while providing exceptional customer service. The position offers a 4-day work week after the initial training period, which typically lasts about one week. Drivers will be expected to navigate various routes throughout the delivery area, using a handheld device for routing and customer delivery information. The job requires the ability to lift packages of various sizes and weights regularly, and candidates must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions. Flexibility to work weekends is a must, as the operation runs seven days a week. Previous experience with FedEx is helpful but not a requirement. The company emphasizes a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, drivers will perform daily inspections of their vehicles, checking fluid levels and reporting any issues that may arise. The position is designed for individuals who are at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license (no CDL required).
