About the position

The Fraud Prevention Product Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will play a crucial role in shaping the strategy and roadmap for the FedNow suite of fraud prevention services. This position focuses on developing scalable solutions to address emerging fraud threats while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with industry needs and business goals. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach to enhance the effectiveness of fraud prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and refining the FedNow fraud prevention product roadmap.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end life cycle for services, from strategy to maintenance and launch.
  • Conduct market and user research to gather data for informed product decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap and drive competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication with team members and partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on product management experience with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of experience in fraud mitigation with a financial institution or service provider.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, marketing, data or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Agile software development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
