About the position

The Federal Account Support Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is responsible for providing technical solutions and support to federal clients, primarily working onsite at customer locations. This role requires a strong background in Linux system administration and the ability to lead technical assessments and implementations of enterprise technology solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of innovative solutions to meet customer needs while ensuring high performance within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and implement detailed technical design solutions as identified by the Project/Technical Manager.
  • Provide detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions.
  • Lead technical assessments and delivery of specific solutions to customers.
  • Coordinate implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions.
  • Provide advanced technical consulting and advice on proposal efforts, solution design, and system management.
  • Collect and determine data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements.
  • Develop customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
  • Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies.
  • Own and manage knowledge sharing within a community.
  • Produce internally published material such as knowledge briefs and service delivery kit components.
  • Create and support sales activities, managing bids and providing qualitative and quantitative information for successful sales.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with specific polygraph required.
  • US Citizenship required at time of hire.
  • Proficient in Linux system administration, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; or three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total).
  • Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across various technologies.
