About the position

The Federal Data Visualization Engineer at Deloitte plays a crucial role in supporting federal government clients by developing data visualization solutions. This position involves working with large datasets to perform network analysis and create reports and dashboards that help uncover insights and relationships within the data. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the data products meet business needs and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Support network analysis and key node and edge analyses of large global supply and commodity networks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver data visualization solutions.
  • Gather and document requirements to meet business needs for data visualization.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement reports and dashboards utilizing underlying data.
  • Participate in all phases of analytic work product development, from identifying key business questions to delivering insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • 3+ years of experience in data dashboard development.
  • 2+ years of technology management consulting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization and report development with Power BI and other Business Intelligence Reporting Applications.
  • Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL area.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years demonstrated frontend software engineering experience (Vue/JavaScript/Angular/React).
  • 2+ years experience with Kibana.
  • Creativity and innovation with a desire to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and willingness to review code and provide feedback.
  • Experience implementing wireframes with flexible, well-structured code.
  • Willingness to collaborate with distributed teams.
  • Comfortable with code versioning tools such as Git.
