About the position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Federal Government Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top talent for our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of internal recruiting processes, relationship management, and the ability to leverage various recruitment tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods including HR sourcing, campus recruitment, and social media to attract candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the training development team to ensure new hires receive appropriate orientation and training.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS or PeopleSoft.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and metrics to management.
  • Participate in job fairs and networking events to promote the company as an employer of choice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software such as ADP, iCIMS, or Paychex is preferred.
  • Experience in campus recruitment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of sales principles can be beneficial for understanding client needs during the recruitment process.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
