About the position

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a full-time Federal Programs Marketing Coordinator. This role is pivotal in leading the proposal development process, which includes conducting go/no-go assessments and proposal kickoff meetings. The coordinator will be responsible for content creation, providing strategic input on project and team selection, and overseeing the layout and design of proposals. Additionally, the role involves the close-out and archiving of proposals, ensuring that all documentation is properly managed and accessible for future reference. The successful candidate will also prepare and guide interview processes, develop marketing materials and content, and manage award submissions. A key responsibility will be to develop and manage the annual marketing plan schedule and budget for the identified business unit(s). The coordinator will coordinate business development calls and provide appropriate reports to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Furthermore, organizing and attending tradeshows and conferences will be essential to promote the firm and its services effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and organizational skills are crucial, as the coordinator will interact with various stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the proposal development process, including go/no-go and proposal kickoff meetings.
  • Create content and provide strategic input on project and team selection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business administration, advertising, communications, or related field plus four years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree in marketing or related field plus six years of relevant experience.
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in marketing, business administration, advertising, or communications if no degree is held.
  • Experience working in the AEC industry is preferred.
  • Experience leading proposal submissions, specifically Federal responses using SF330s.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Significant writing and editing experience.
