About the position
The Federal Project/Implementation Manager at Sedgwick Government Solutions is responsible for leading the implementation of clinical client programs for high-profile federal clients. This role requires effective prioritization in a dynamic environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams. The manager will develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and coordination of complex, multi-service contracts for strategic customers.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive implementation plans to ensure on-time implementation.
- Act as the central point of coordination across various teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution of initiatives.
- Identify required resources, assign duties, and manage timelines for successful service launches.
- Serve as the hub for communication during implementation, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Develop proactive risk management strategies to identify and resolve potential issues early.
- Conduct regular status checkpoints and coordinate meetings to track project milestones and tasks.
- Collaborate with Quality and Training Departments to ensure staff training meets contract requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or Business Administration; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in DMAIC/Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
- Experience managing public sector implementations as a Project or Program Manager.
- Understanding of development life cycle methodologies.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of managing complex initiatives.
- Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a multi-vendor environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a heavy workload.
- Proficient in overall business software, including MS Office Suite.
