About the position

The Federal Project/Implementation Manager at Sedgwick Government Solutions is responsible for leading the implementation of clinical client programs for high-profile federal clients. This role requires effective prioritization in a dynamic environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams. The manager will develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and coordination of complex, multi-service contracts for strategic customers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive implementation plans to ensure on-time implementation.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across various teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution of initiatives.
  • Identify required resources, assign duties, and manage timelines for successful service launches.
  • Serve as the hub for communication during implementation, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop proactive risk management strategies to identify and resolve potential issues early.
  • Conduct regular status checkpoints and coordinate meetings to track project milestones and tasks.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Training Departments to ensure staff training meets contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or Business Administration; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in DMAIC/Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
  • Experience managing public sector implementations as a Project or Program Manager.
  • Understanding of development life cycle methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of managing complex initiatives.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a heavy workload.
  • Proficient in overall business software, including MS Office Suite.
