About the position

The Federal Sales Director at Archive360 is responsible for driving revenue growth within the Public Sector by developing and closing business with Federal and State Agencies. This role involves engaging with channel partners and key accounts to enhance the company's established Federal business, focusing on compliance offerings that help customers manage data security and regulatory requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, track, and accurately forecast sales opportunities to targeted federal agencies.
  • Engage a programmatic approach to generate, develop, and expand your territory.
  • Communicate value propositions to clients and stakeholders that speak to their needs and requirements.
  • Update Salesforce and meet accurate forecasting requirements.
  • Employ all cross-functional resources to achieve your quota: lead development, sales architects and engineering, channel partners, field marketing, governance sales specialists, the services team, the executive team, and others.
  • Track industry news and trends, and report how they affect Archive360 products and services.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Federal as a contractor, employee, or salesperson.
  • Established track record of selling to Government and understanding of the procurement process.
  • Sound understanding of the structured data archiving and application retirement business.
  • Knowledge of structured sales techniques and expertise in identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
  • Preferable experience with IBM, Informatica, Open Text, or other archiving and information governance solutions.
  • 7 years of successful federal sales experience, hunter mentality, excellent executive briefing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Good business development skills, including responding to RFI's, working with a variety of agencies and partners in the Federal space.
  • FSI sell-to experience with contacts in that community.
  • Cloud-based SAAS solutions and software sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, GovWin and other Federal databases of opportunities.
