About the position

The Federal Sales Operations Analyst position at Cisco Systems, Inc. is a critical role within the Cisco Workspace for Government Team, which is dedicated to enhancing the consumption and adoption of software services in the US Federal Government sector. This position is designed for a candidate who possesses a unique blend of technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively balance business needs with engineering support and customer missions. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Workspace for Government application and ensuring that Cisco's sales processes align with customer requirements in a dynamic and fluid environment. In this role, the analyst will serve as the first point of contact for resolving technical issues related to the Workspace for Government. They will be tasked with managing customer accounts, addressing support calls, and creating JIRA tickets to track and resolve issues in a timely manner. The analyst will also assist in gathering customer product and application requirements, create quotes in Cisco Commerce Workplace, and track order fulfillment. The ability to handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously and manage ad hoc projects is essential. Additionally, the analyst will contribute to the Workspace for Government Development Lifecycle by developing processes, documenting procedures, and ensuring that documentation is continuously updated. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management. They will be expected to cultivate cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with Cisco Account teams across the Federal environment to ensure that customer mission requirements are met with integrity and reliability. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be the front line for resolution of technical issues with Workspace for Government.
  • Provide adds and changes to customer accounts, answering and solving support calls, and responding to and creating JIRA tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in gathering customer product and application requirements.
  • Create quotes in Cisco Commerce Workplace and track order fulfillment.
  • Handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Successfully handle ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Identify, call out, and drive resolution of issues.
  • Contribute to Workspace for Government Development Lifecycle through process development, documentation, and socialization throughout the organization.
  • Update documentation on a continuous basis.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with varying levels of management.
  • Be an exceptional teammate, quickly developing and cultivating cross-functional relationships.

Requirements

  • 1+ Years of experience with Atlassian Software (i.e JIRA)
  • 1+ Years of Cisco IOS command line experience or other Cisco platform software
  • 3+ Years of sales operations experience or related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cisco CSAP Graduate or similar experience is preferred.
  • BA/BS (business or engineering preferred).
  • Prior experience of successfully leading and delivering cross-functional programs.
