About the position

The Federal Security Solutions Manager at SAP will be a key member of the Intelligent Spend and Business Network (ISBN) Product Security-Federal Operations Team, responsible for overseeing security, risk management, and accreditation of federal product offerings. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive the implementation of security solutions, data analysis, and strategic security reporting, ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the secondary cybersecurity point of contact for communications with U.S. Government customers.
• Assist in complex technical discussions regarding security requirements and solutions for the federal sector.
• Lead the maintenance of the System Security Plan (SSP) and System Security and Privacy Plan (SSPP).
• Oversee the technical viability of remediations in the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
• Support investigations of potential security incidents and contribute to timely completion of security tasks.
• Review and analyze data from security tools, including vulnerability scanning and configuration management.
• Develop reports and written communications to support leadership, including the ISSO and ISSM.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or Information Security.
• Technical security certifications such as CISSP, CAP, CISA, or Security+.
• Experience with securing and accrediting cloud hyperscaler hosted systems and services.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 standards, FedRAMP, FISMA, and PCI compliance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Experience in a multivendor enterprise environment, particularly with Federal systems.
