About The Position
This is a Federal Work Study (FWS) funded position ONLY. Please apply only if you have been awarded FWS as part of your financial aid package at LIU for the current academic year. This job is located on the LIU Post campus in Brookville. The position includes regular lab duties such as preparing media and reagents, sterilizing equipment, conducting experiments and recording data. The lab's research focuses on the ecology and evolution of bacteria and viruses. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn research skills and participate in projects and will have complete Introductory Biology courses (completing Microbiology a plus).
