About the position
FedEx Ground in Sauget, IL is seeking responsible Delivery Drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of packages to customers. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on customer service and safety. Drivers will operate company trucks and are expected to maintain a professional demeanor while navigating various routes and weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Focus on customer service and safety during deliveries.
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
- Use a handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.
- Load and unload packages to be delivered.
- Be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
- Deliver up to 150-200 packages a day.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license within the state of employment.
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move 150 lbs with a handcart.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
