About the position

The Fellow - Product Development and Procurement role at McKinsey & Company is designed for recent graduates who are eager to engage in consulting work that drives significant impact for clients. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in solving complex problems related to product development and procurement.
  • Drive process improvement and deliver successful business results for clients.
  • Develop broad-based strategies for a diverse set of clients.
  • Gather and analyze information to formulate and test hypotheses.
  • Develop recommendations and implement them with client team members.
  • Collaborate with teams of 3-5 consultants to analyze, design, and implement business performance approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain focus preferred, graduating spring/summer 2025.
  • Industry awareness in basic materials, chemicals, financial services, healthcare, high-tech, oil & gas, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated track record of assessing and driving transformational improvements.
  • Knowledge of the full value chain, including purchasing/supply management, product development, and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and problem-solving.
  • Proven leadership experience in work settings or extracurricular activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas.
