About the position
The position involves providing expert project management support in various areas including scheduling, estimating, planning, project execution, and strategic planning within E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. The role requires significant experience in managing plutonium facilities and projects, with a focus on mentoring project managers and ensuring compliance with project management standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform major organization assessments and project leadership assessments.
- Provide mentoring to project/program managers and project control personnel in 413.38 implementation and project execution.
- Lead and participate in major project reviews such as contractor red/green team reviews and Independent Project Reviews (IPRs).
- Provide consultation on all aspects of plutonium facility operations, including waste management and radiological operations.
- Advise and support management in developing integrated team structures and performance evaluations.
- Provide oversight of support operations involving multiple projects and personnel.
- Develop and provide training programs for project management and project controls personnel.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical field with 25 years of broad experience in engineering, operations, marketing, strategic and business planning, or a bachelor's degree with 30 years of experience.
- 20 or more years of experience working in plutonium facilities or on plutonium projects.
- 15 or more years of 413.3B project management experience.
- 5 or more years of experience on NNSA/DOE capital line-item projects.
- 20 or more years of experience developing and providing training.
- Key role in EVMS Certification at 1 or more DOE sites.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE 'Q' security clearance.
