About the position
AECOM is seeking a FEMA PA Experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to work remotely on a 3-year contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program. The role involves conducting quality assurance reviews on PA grant applications for disaster recovery projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FEMA guidelines. The QA Specialist will play a crucial role in validating project documentation and supporting FEMA's efforts in disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA reviews on PA grant applications for disaster recovery projects.
- Review Damage Description and Dimension (DDD), Scope of Work (SOW), and Cost Estimate for accuracy and proper documentation.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with the Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG).
- Utilize the QA Checklist and Grants Manager (GM) system for project reviews.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings and complete required reports.
- Ensure completeness of Applicant-provided documentation in support of project development.
Requirements
- BA/BS and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust.
- FEMA PA and/or CRC experience is required.
- Completion certificates for specific security/privacy courses must be provided.
