About the position

The FEMA PA TAC Resource Coordinator at CDM Smith plays a crucial role in providing resource support for FEMA Programs, particularly focusing on the FEMA Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract (PA TAC) program. This position involves building relationships with FEMA personnel, managing staffing needs for disaster response, and ensuring accurate data management to support project operations. The role offers flexible working options, including in-office, hybrid, or fully remote environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with the FEMA PA TAC roster, partnering with recruiting and contract Program Management teams.
  • Work with JV Partner firm to present a qualified team of resources for client needs.
  • Mobilize staff to disaster locations and ensure smooth transitions to field operations as needed.
  • Understand project economics to make optimal staffing decisions in coordination with project managers.
  • Perform consulting analyses to support client needs, including operations improvement and resource needs.
  • Ensure data in resource management systems is accurate and up to date.
  • Identify the best resources for proposals and support management in proposal requests.
  • Partner with the Security team to facilitate the Federal security clearance process for roster staff.
  • Stay current on client, industry, and market data to support business decisions.
  • Verify and input accurate data into analysis tools and consult primary sources for discrepancies.
  • Work with Project Managers to determine staff availability and alternative staffing approaches.
  • Validate and input data into analysis tools and prepare sections of management consulting reports.
  • Perform basic administrative activities such as organizing meetings and writing correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required, contingent on specific duties and project demands.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
