We are excited to announce that CCPRS has won the next 5-year contract for Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contractors - PA TAC V in the West Zone! This zone encompasses a wide range of states and territories including Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. If you are looking to join a company that is committed to your success, we invite you to invest your technical expertise with us and support FEMA in various capacities. Through CCPRS, Jacobs is seeking individuals to provide technical assistance support for FEMA disaster-related operations across the United States. FEMA utilizes the PA TAC nationally to fill financial services roles such as Financial Analyst, Accountant, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). These roles are crucial in assisting state and local municipalities and public entities in developing grant applications for Federal Public Assistance funding aimed at repairing infrastructure and facilities that have been damaged by disasters, including roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, water treatment facilities, and parks. As part of the FEMA program, you will be relied upon to support our technical professionals and assist in various phases of the Public Assistance grant delivery process, from applicant assignment to exit briefing. This includes the development of technical documents, cost estimating, and providing disaster recovery and management services. You will play a key role in assisting project managers or engineers with significant segments of moderate to complex projects or tasks, and you will provide reporting and management assistance to enhance the overall efficiency of disaster operations. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring compliance with FEMA's Public Assistance policies and procedures. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to clear a Department of Homeland Security background check for a security clearance level of "Public Trust," and be open to working 8-12 hours per day for 5-6 days a week. You may be required to deploy to the field in remote disaster conditions, with most responsibilities conducted in a FEMA office. Given the unpredictable nature of this work, you must be able to mobilize within 24-48 hours if needed, commit to a minimum of 90 days on disaster deployment, and be flexible for contingent project work. Please note that this is an hourly paid position and is non-exempt.
