About The Position

Mat-Su Health Services is excited to present the opportunity for a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Coordinator to join our behavioral health team. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing progressive integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care. The FEP Coordinator develops community outreach activities, services, and clinical interventions for individuals who experience the first signs of psychosis. You will learn models of service, develop and maintain performance indicators and provide clinical services for eligible individual and families. More specifically, as the FEP Coordinator you will develop an outreach plan for agency, coalition and community presentations; participate in in-service trainings re: FEP; meet with potentially eligible individuals and families to engage them in services; and create a model for treating FEP that incorporates best practice principles of FEP service provision with the culture and geographic considerations of the Mat-Su Valley. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Licensed or license eligible.
  • Two years of experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Fingerprint-based background check.
  • Current driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 consistent with CMS mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop community outreach activities, services, and clinical interventions for individuals experiencing first signs of psychosis.
