About the position

The Festival Digital Operations Coordinator will provide remote support to the Sundance Digital Operations team, working closely under the Director of Collab and Digital Operations. This role is essential in supporting Sundance Institute's mission to discover, support, and inspire independent film and media artists, while also introducing audiences to their new work. The position is temporary and requires flexibility in hours, particularly during the Film Festival period.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Digital Ops team with entering film and screening data into the Content Management System (CMS).
• Supporting the process to set up and maintain quality assurance (QA) for all product rules in the Eventive streaming platform.
• Leading the process to set up the Jury site for jury members to watch films and select them for awards.
• Supporting the online film QA process, ensuring all films are watched and signed off on, and reassigning films to volunteers as needed.
• Assisting in creating documentation, including updating the CMS User Guide and documenting steps for uploading film data.
• Providing support to the Sundance Tech teams, Eventive teams, Customer Support team, and Ticketing team during the Festival, resolving issues with site functionality and performance.
• Completing a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1-2 years of project coordination experience.
• Ability to type 30 words per minute (WPM).
• Working knowledge of media streaming devices, such as Zoom and YouTube.
• Outstanding interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule due to multiple shift rotations.
• Ability to maintain a suitable home work environment, free from noise/distractions.
