About the position

The FFC Operations Inbound-Outbound Team Lead is responsible for assisting the FFC Operations Inbound-Outbound Supervisor in managing daily operations, task delegation, and ensuring a positive team culture. This role emphasizes safety, operational performance, and effective communication to achieve a flawless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FFC Operations Inbound-Outbound Supervisor with daily administration and task delegation.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, emphasizing FFC goals for customer experience.
• Ensure associates comprehend and execute safe work practices through regular safety observations and discussions.
• Identify and resolve safety issues on the floor, notifying the appropriate parties for resolution.
• Model and communicate Lowe's Core Behaviors and SMART customer service expectations.
• Adapt quickly to changes in business, associates, or customer needs.
• Monitor and drive FFC associates to achieve key operational performance metrics.
• Provide tools, resources, and knowledge of systems and procedures to associates.
• Make confident decisions and escalate issues to leadership as necessary.
• Identify barriers to operational processes and communicate them to leadership, implementing solutions as required.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other leaders to drive overall FFC success.
• Provide real-time training and feedback to associates, including onboarding of hourly associates.
• Supervise and provide direction to associates in the absence of the FFC Inbound-Outbound Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 1 year experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 1 year experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year experience working in distribution operations.
• 1 year supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
