About the position

Leidos is seeking full-time and part-time Mortgage Servicing Professionals to join their FHA Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in the mortgage servicing industry, specifically related to Federal Housing Administration (FHA) guidelines and procedures. The position offers opportunities for telework after training, and employees will receive immediate access to benefits, ongoing training, and career mobility within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering calls and emails regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Utilize knowledge of mortgage servicing to find answers in a knowledge database for client requests.
• Follow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels.
• Document all contacts in a database for record-keeping.
• Stay updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage servicing work history (e.g., loan servicing specialist, loss mitigation specialist).
• Minimum of 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday, based on business needs.
• Knowledge or experience with FHA guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (Spanish & English), verbal and written communication skills.
• Contact Center experience (omnichannel).
