Based in San Diego and Chicago, the company produces Made-in-America products with the mission to Lead the World to Clean Mobility. As a Fiberglass Assembler your responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities

  • Build and install fiberglass sub-assemblies.
  • Follow production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions.
  • Interpret and work from drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
  • Prep fiberglass components with various holes, rivets, and sanding.
  • Combine fiberglass components together and to other components to make sub-assemblies using the appropriate hardware and move them to the appropriate location.
  • Use, maintain, and put back in the proper place the tools called out for each operation.
  • Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Troubleshoot and rework defects on sub-assemblies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous work in construction or boat fabrication
  • Clear understanding of mechanical hardware (wrenches, screwdrivers, power tools, etc.) and proper methods
  • Basic level knowledge of blueprints and Bill of Materials
  • Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Must be available for overtime weekdays and Saturdays as needed.
