About the position

The Fiberglass Fitting Operator position at NOV - Fiber Glass Systems in Burkburnett, TX, is a manufacturing role focused on the production of composite piping systems and fittings for various industries. The operator will work in the Filament Wound Fitting Department, ensuring the safe and quality finishing of products before shipment. This role requires a dependable team player who can operate equipment, maintain cleanliness, and comply with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates any equipment needed to perform job
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Utilizes safe work habits
• Wears appropriate PPE
• Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
