About the position

The Fiduciary Operations Supervisor at Marsh will oversee daily fiduciary activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves leading a team of fiduciary operations staff, preparing management reports, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of fiduciary operations staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Approve operational work streams and resolve escalated issues to ensure timely and strategic delivery.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Participate in and/or lead projects affecting the department and its processes, collaborating with other departments.
• Review negotiated documents and internal processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Provide training to staff on document and invoice review, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of fiduciary principles and regulatory requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formatting) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge about invoicing and fiduciary function.
• Experience identifying and implementing opportunities for process enhancements.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Previous revenue recognition experience.
• Experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
• Experience executing change and transformation initiatives.
