The Fiduciary Tax Accountant position at Spherion Naples involves working with a prestigious law firm to manage tax-related responsibilities for estates and trusts. The role focuses on analyzing legal documents, preparing tax returns, and maintaining client relationships, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and effective financial management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wills, trusts, and legal documents in compliance with legal practices.
• Organize financial statements and spreadsheets for tax preparation.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external personnel to obtain essential financial and legal information.
• Analyze estate planning documents, including wills and trust agreements, for tax return preparation.
• Gather and organize asset and debt information for estates and trusts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of 2 years as a tax accountant or tax preparer is required.
• Experience with forms 706, 709 and experience with reading trust documents is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Estate Val Software (EVP), ProSystem FX, FastTax, and GEMS is required.
• Experience with fiduciary accounting, trust and estate procedures, and trial balance sheets is required.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment is required.
