About the position

The Field 1 - Account Manager role at Via Seating is essential for driving sales through preferred dealers in the Eastern and Western Territories. This position supports the Area Sales Manager and is responsible for achieving top line goals and business development in the region. The role requires a strong focus on sales strategy implementation, customer relationship management, and effective communication, with a significant travel requirement of 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Area Sales Manager in achieving top line goals.
  • Implement key strategies to drive sales through targeted dealers.
  • Leverage Sales Force (CRM) for internal communication and forecasting.
  • Engage with preferred dealer relationships and utilize customer data effectively.
  • Manage funnel and opportunity tracking from sample deployment to close.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Ensure support of independent reps in the region as directed by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate on business development strategies with a focus on targeted dealers.
  • Become a product expert and understand the specifications and applications of all products.
  • Provide accurate projection reports as required.
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives for the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Act as a positive brand ambassador and maintain a professional image.
  • Efficiently manage resources in pursuit of sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with dealers and clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, specifically Sales Force.
  • Strong analytical skills for forecasting and reporting.

  • Experience in the furniture or seating industry.
