About the position

As a Field Account Representative (Multi-Family) at HD Supply, you will be responsible for selling maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to a portfolio of multi-family housing customers. This remote position focuses on driving sales growth through prospecting new accounts, retaining existing customers, and expanding opportunities within the market. The role requires strong sales skills, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of an organization.
• Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing valuable input for effective sales strategies.
• Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related field or a Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience in B2B sales and direct sales.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience with consultative selling/solution selling.
• Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, and lighting.
• Experience in large volume of product lines.
