About the position
The Field Application Engineer 2 will be responsible for integrating and deploying AI and computer vision technologies in manufacturing environments. This role involves working closely with industrial clients to implement and optimize vision AI solutions, particularly focusing on edge and camera devices. The position requires hands-on technical work, including system setup, troubleshooting, and training client staff on new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work on-site with industrial clients to implement and optimize vision AI solutions.
- Set up systems and troubleshoot issues related to AI and computer vision technologies.
- Train client staff on the use of new technologies and systems.
- Drive to various client locations as needed for project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of relevant job experience with manufacturing camera devices, vision AI, or computer vision technologies.
- Hands-on experience in an on-site manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with programming and system configuration.
