This full-time position is integral to our sales department and involves working closely with customers to identify and recommend suitable electronic component solutions across a variety of electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for technology, particularly in the context of analog circuits and cutting-edge electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with users and potential users of Coilcraft products to discuss their applications and design challenges. You will recommend appropriate solutions that align with their needs and promote beneficial partnerships with other manufacturers through cooperation on reference designs. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Coilcraft's operations and engineering teams to support customers' specific requirements. Additionally, you will provide valuable market intelligence gained through your interactions, helping to identify potential new requirements for Coilcraft products. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse range of industries, including 5G, autonomous driving, vehicle electrification, cloud computing, and consumer electronics. As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with users and potential users of Coilcraft products concerning applications and design challenges. Recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Promote beneficial partnerships with other manufacturers through cooperation on reference designs.
  • Work with Coilcraft's operations and engineering teams to support customers' specific needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineer technology, materials engineering, physics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
