About the position

The Field Application Engineer (Power Electronics) position involves working directly with clients, partners, and customers to facilitate successful sales conversions. This role includes presales activities, assisting in formulating product specifications, and providing technical training to the sales team. The engineer will maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure that all deliverables are met while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and the factory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating product specifications and solutions based on customer needs.
• Accelerate the sales procedure by advocating solutions to customers.
• Design training materials for technical field training.
• Provide field training to the sales team.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers to engage in early design jobs.
• Collaborate with sales teams, engineers, and product managers to obtain accurate information on application usage and product management.
• Provide design proposals and submittals.
• Perform desired tests and installation procedures.
• Identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Adapt quickly to the company's working culture and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Field Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role in the data center, UPS, or power distribution industry.
• Experience with Power Electronics is required.
