About the position

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) position focuses on providing technical support and solutions in the wireless connectivity space, particularly in WiFi. The role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work, and is ideal for experienced engineers or those looking to transition into an FAE role. The primary responsibility is to leverage technical expertise to assist customers and ensure the successful implementation of wireless solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and solutions to customers regarding wireless connectivity products.
• Assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address customer needs and feedback.
• Develop and maintain hardware schematics related to wireless products.
• Engage with customers in a customer-facing role to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an engineer, particularly in Embedded, RF, and Hardware domains.
• Proficiency in coding with C programming language.
• Experience in customer support or a customer-facing position.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols such as WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, or other radio protocols.
• Experience with hardware schematics.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pre-sales and post-sales processes.
• Familiarity with the wireless connectivity market and trends.
