About the position

The Field Application Engineer at Anritsu is responsible for identifying customer technical needs, demonstrating equipment, and driving sales revenue through effective customer engagement. This role involves collaboration with sales professionals, providing pre-sales technical support, and conducting post-sales training and support. The engineer will work with high-speed networks and interconnect communication testing, creating demand for Anritsu's products through various presentations and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Teaming with Sales professionals to help develop and win complex opportunities.
  • Pre-sales technical customer application qualification and product demonstrations for technical and non-technical customer base as part of the Anritsu Sales Team.
  • Post sales customer support and training.
  • Technical training and support of High Speed Networks and Interconnects communication testing from Physical Layer through Network Protocol, including but not limited to Ethernet/IP, PCIe and circuit-based transport.
  • Creating demand for Anritsu's products through presentations, seminars, application notes, white papers, and demonstrations.
  • Building credible long-term technical relationships with customer base and Sales Team as a product expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • U.S Citizen preferred due to onsite customer visits that require U.S citizenship.
  • Knowledge or experience in Signal Integrity/High Speed interconnect Test environments preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with Test and Measurement equipment, such as Anritsu, Keysight or Tektronix test equipment including BERT's, Oscilloscopes, stressed receiver testing, Jitter tolerance or compliance testing.
  • Knowledge or experience with PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and TCP/IP technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Documented written communication skills to include technical research or white papers.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and 10% International.
