About the position

The Field Application Engineer position is focused on managing an existing customer base while also developing new business opportunities. This role requires a strong technical background in semiconductor analog circuit design and involves working closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to meet financial targets and provide application-specific support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for application of our Technologies
• Identify, qualify, and develop customer base
• Match customer's needs and goals to our solutions and capabilities
• Investigate, study and document the analog mixed signal market segment needs and feed back to Marketing responsible
• Responsibility for new business development and meeting financial targets in conjunction with the field sales force
• Provide application specific technical support and help to resolve technical issues in customer designs during the design phase but also at silicon level
• Work closely with the technical, sales & marketing teams to close new business opportunities and act as liaison with other technical staff

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Semiconductor field
• Proven track record of successful sales/field application support
• Experience in managing large multi-national accounts
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in using design tools, such as Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys & Tanner tools
