In this role as a Field Application Engineer, you will support customer test engineers and product engineers in the development and deployment of test solutions for customer devices. Your responsibilities will include designing test interface hardware for devices under test (DUT) and creating test programs in C/Visual Basic to perform digital, analog, radio frequency (RF), and mixed-signal test functions. You will also assist in the bring-up and debugging of customer devices, create characterization test programs, collect data, and perform data analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for test correlation and data analysis, supporting the release for production, and reporting customer bugs or problems to engineering while managing the follow-up delivery of fixes. Your role will also involve developing supporting tools for customer test program generation, collecting customer needs and requests, and communicating these to the internal engineering team to develop new solutions. You will work closely with worldwide support teams to coordinate project development and ensure the timely delivery of critical project milestones.
