Field Application Scientist, Midwest

About the position

The Field Application Scientist at Bio-Techne is responsible for providing technical support and application assistance for Advanced Cell Diagnostics' assay platform in the Midwest region. This role involves training customers, troubleshooting systems, and serving as a liaison between various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and effective communication of product capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide application assistance, product training, and system troubleshooting for Advanced Cell Diagnostics scientific product lines via phone, email, and on-site visits.
• Organize, schedule, and conduct product demonstrations, delivering presentations at customer sites and conferences.
• Prepare technical documents such as protocols, application notes, and user guides as needed.
• Act as a liaison with Sales, Marketing, and R&D, providing timely customer feedback from the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a similar discipline with 5 years of laboratory experience, or an MS/PhD with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with experimental design, cell and molecular techniques, and reagents for IHC, ISH, and Imaging.
